I sincerely can't figure out why so many people running home internet marketing business are so concerned about what the gurus are doing. Just recently a very successful and well known marketer deleted his Twitter account and it suddenly became a subject of discussion for days. As a matter of fact, it's like the most talked about things since Moses parted the Red Sea.
I can't help but ask does this person deleting his Twitter account have anything to do with my home internet marketing business? In this article, we are going to briefly look at the advantages as well as disadvantages of poking our nose into other people's business.
First let's look at the disadvantages, to be sincere there are more of this than the advantage.
One of the greatest disadvantages is the waste of valuable time. Every single minute we spend focusing on other peoples business, is time that we could have committed to our own business. Does discussion on online forums about what the latest action of the gurus add anything to our internet business? The only thing it does is distract us from building our own business.
There is another disadvantage a lot of individuals don't think about. When you start poking your nose into somebody's affair it portrays you as a gossip and guess what. No one looks at a gossip as a serious person. Just think about it. If a group of people start talking about you how would you feel? Am sure you will classify them a jobless set of people who do not have better things to do with their time. And if you are trying to build a reputation for yourself you should avoid poking your nose into other people's affair.
Alright, let's take a look at the advantages of keeping an eye on what other people are doing. If you are focusing on things that are relevant to your internet business, case in point, what business model are they utilizing? How they market their product? What kind of product do they promote? What they put up in their blogs and many more. And not yelling why a marketer deleted his Twitter account.
Always focus on your home internet marketing business or soon you will find out that your internet business is not as profitable as it use to be and am sure the last person to help you will be the marketer you gossiped about.

How? Register a .info domain name (which is 1 dollar) and RE-DIRECT your traffic to a vendor who is selling stuff in your niche of interest. Use article marketing (like what I'm doing right now) to send traffic at the re-direction page, which forwards to your affiliate offer cookied with your ID. Total cost for this strategy is about 5 bucks or less, and if you've got an afternoon to kill, you can make your first hundred bucks online in one day or less doing the above. (this works best in "sexier" markets like diet, dating, divorce, etc)
Very easy stuff....and don't let anyone tell you that you CAN'T make a full time income from home very quickly...and make it happen without silly seminars, expensive courses or other nefarious nonsense!
Bonus Tip: Give up on the Gurus! There is NO course, no DVD and no secret seminar that's going to make you successful overnight. Are there strategies that can accelerate ( and accentuate) your efforts? Absolutely. But is any "business in a box" solution going to get you where you want to be by itself? Absolutely not...and anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something you DON'T need to get there....I promise.
